Peppermints. So good, so refreshing. Reminds me of my grandmother. Ahhh, sweet memories there. She always had an ample stash of peppermints in her house! Libby from My Life On Earth sent me this Peppermint Fudge recipe. So good, so easy!
2 cups milk chocolate chips
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 14 oz. can sweetened condensed milk
1/2 tsp. peppermint extract
1/4 cup crushed peppermints
Melt chocolate chips with condensed milk and salt over low heat. Remove from heat. Stir in peppermint extract. Spread evenly into a 8 or 9 in. square pan lined with wax paper. Sprinkle with peppermints.
Let sit in fridge for 2 hours. Remove from pan and slice. Store in refrigerator.
